Sara Van Cuyk

Prevention Educator - Youth and Teen Advocate • She/Her/Hers

In her role, Sarah provides age-appropriate sexual violence prevention education to students K-12. In her role as a Youth and Teen Advocate, she works daily alongside young people who have experienced sexual violence and walks with them throughout their healing journey. Her passion derives from her dedication to ensuring youth have a safe space to be seen, heard, respected, and their most authentic self.
Sara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from St. Norbert College and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Sara’s special interests include online exploitation, prevention, self-generated child sexual abuse material, and youth and family advocacy. Sara enjoys working directly with young people because she continues to learn new things from them every day and has the opportunity to see firsthand the growth and healing process of each child and family. Outside of work, Sara enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and watching reality tv.
