Leigha Perlewitz, LCSW

Leigha is a mental health therapist who works with individuals across the lifespan, ages 5 and up. She has experience treating a wide range of concerns, but holds special interests for working with those who have experienced trauma, C-PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety disorders, and those who are experiencing difficult life transitions. She is specially trained in Brainspotting, a modality for processing deeply held trauma. She believes that everyone has the capacity for healing and creating positive, lasting change. Her treatment approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and tailored to each unique individual. She feels honored to be part of her client's healing journeys.
Leigha has a Master of Social Work, with a concentration in trauma-informed care from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is a licensed clinical social worker, with past experience in suicide prevention, community-based counseling in various homeless shelters and social service organizations, and outpatient mental health therapy in healthcare organizations.

Outside of work, Leigha enjoys spending time with her children, reading fantasy and paranormal novels, and loves all things Harry Potter and Disney."
