Jamie received a Masters of Science from Capella University in Mental Health Counseling in 2013. She has also received a post graduate certification in marriage and family systems therapy (CMFST) through Capella University in 2014. Additional certifications she has obtained are: trauma treatment (CCTP), sex offender treatment (CSOTP), dialectical behavioral therapy (C-DBT), thinking for change (CT4C), anxiety treatment (CCATP), sex addiction therapy (CSAT) and personality disorders treatment (C-PD). Jamie has been a practicing therapist since 2013; and has been with Reach Counseling since 2018.  
Jamie would describe her treatment approach as direct, goal oriented and person centered. She chose to specialize in working with sex offenders as well as trauma survivors as she wanted to be able to make a difference in people's lives as well as for the community as a whole. She wanted to be able to assist in lowering recidivism rates as well as promote positive change and personal growth for her clients. Jamie has extensive experience working with: trauma, sex offending/sexual abuse/sex addiction/pornographyaddiction, pedophilia, paraphilia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder as well as clients that are resistant to treatment or rate high in psychopathy. 
Some facts to know about her are that she is a mother of two and is passionate about her children as well as helping her clients achieve their goals. She also loves learning and expanding her knowledge in the counseling field; and genuinely loves what she does and cares about her clients' success.
