Anthony’s story
Abused as a child, Anthony experienced shame, anxiety and nightmares from his attack. As he grew older, he began coping through drugs and casual sex. Since working with Reach Counseling Services, Anthony’s entire perspective about life has changed, and he continues to work hard to move forward in positive ways.
Marsha’s story
As a child, Marsha was physically and sexually abused. When she finally escaped that life and got married, her husband became an abuser. Since then, she has been working with Reach Counseling Services to heal. Here, Marianne, a victim advocate, shares Marsha’s story on her behalf.
